Taphouse then had 2 great chances in the 15th minute, the first being a shot straight at the keeper from the edge of the box which was put straight at the keeper. The second came after a powerful run from Oliver Carthew put Taphouse in for a chance from 6 yards out although he was unlucky not to connect with Carthew's pass.

In the 78th minute Taylor Hartill was bought on in place of Josh Galvin who turned out to be a crucial substitute. 2 minutes later he won Bodmin a free kick from 40 yards out which was delivered into the box picking out Corey Stewart whose shot was rebounded into the path of Hartill who put away the rebound from close range to make the match 1-1.

Bodmins final substitution came in the 87th minute which saw Elliot Griffiths being reintroduced in place of Henry Ellis.
Hartill nearly got his second of the match although his close range effort went over the bar. Hartill then kept Bodmin in the match in the 90th minute following a Bodmin corner, St Mawgan went on a thunderous counter attack although Hartill tracked back superbly making a last ditch intervention before any shot was managed on Crook.
The game finished 1-1 which could have easily been three points to Bodmin in a game they felt they should have won. Strong performances came from Alex Butters who was very solid at left back, Jacob Turner whose work-rates were influential throughout, Josh Taphouse whose inspiring runs tormented the St Mawgan defence all game and Taylor Hartill who despite only playing for 12 minutes drew 3 fouls, 1 match saving block and scored an important equaliser which could give the Bodmin coaching staff a selection dilemma. Man of the match goes to Corey Stewart who was solid and comfortable on the ball and defensively. Playing at centre-back and central midfield, he was a strong character who had two or three close chances of scoring a goal himself.
